3D STL models for neuromodulation

You can find here a series of 3D printable models to help you setup specific neuromodulation experiments involving TMS or tES.

Frame for 6×1 tES montage compatible with high-density EEG from EGI

This frame was specifically designed for concurrent EEG-tES setups using high-density EEG caps with an hexagonal mesh.

The curvature is suited for somatosensory, motor or occipital targets. It is not designed for temporal or frontal targets.

It is fully compatible with the electrode holders available in this page.

Once the frame, holders and electrodes are in position, it is recommended to use a hair net to secure the setup.

Frame for 2×1 tES frontal montage compatible with high-density EEG from EGI

This frame was specifically designed for concurrent EEG-tES setups using high-density EEG caps with an hexagonal mesh.

The curvature is only suited for frontal targets.

It is fully compatible with the electrode holders available in this page.

Once the frame, holders and electrodes are in position, it is recommended to use a hair net to secure the setup.

Frame for 2×1 tES temporal montage compatible with high-density EEG from EGI

This frame was specifically designed for concurrent EEG-tES setups using high-density EEG caps with an hexagonal mesh.

The curvature is only suited for temporal targets and designed to avoid the ear.

It is fully compatible with the electrode holders available in this page.

Once the frame, holders and electrodes are in position, it is recommended to use a hair net to secure the setup.

Electrode holder for tES montages compatible with high-density EEG from EGI

This electrode holder was specifically designed to fit inside the frame built for concurrent EEG-tES setups using high-density EEG caps with an hexagonal mesh.

It is compatible with AgCl lens tES electrodes with 11 mm diameter.

It is recommended to fill the holder(s) with conductive gel/paste prior to the subject’s arrival, insert the electrode and position the holder at the correct location inside the frame. Once the frame, holders and electrodes are in position, it is recommended to use a hair net to secure the setup.

Frame for square 4×1 tES montage

This frame was specifically designed for 4×1 tES montages with a 4cm distance between the central and side electrodes and 11 mm diameter AgCl lens electrodes. It is adapted from previous open source versions of OpenBCI arm/hands frames.

A dedicated coil tracker can be inserted into the top part in order to perform neuronavigation with this device. Once the frame, electrodes are in position, it is recommended to use a hair net and/or band to secure the setup.

Subject tracker compatible with head-band for neuronavigation using BrainSight

This subject tracker is only compatible with the BrainSight neuronavigation system, and must be used with 8mm reflective markers.

It will be recognized as ST1089 by BrainSight. However it will not be recognized by alternative neuronavigation solutions.
