Brain mechanisms of speech comprehension

Hello,

I’m looking for volunteers to carry out an MEG and MRI session.

Participation in the study involves two parts.

1. The first part records your brain activity by magnetoencephalogram (MEG) while you listen to French sentences and perform a number of comprehension tasks. This part will take up to 2.5 hours.
2. The second part records your brain shape by structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This will take up to 30 minutes.

Compensation: CHF 20/hour, rounded to the next half hour.

Conditions of participation

• The Volunteer should be MRI compatible:
  • Healthy adult
  • Not claustrophobic
  • magnetic resonance environment screening form filled

• native French speaker 

• basic English skills

• aged 18-40 

• no history of neurological disorder

• no permanent metal implantation

• no tattoo above chest level (please contact us for more detail).
